Our thesis is built around a simple belief: the energy transition will be constrained not by generation, but by storage and system intelligence. As power systems add more renewables, batteries are becoming critical infrastructure for balancing supply and demand. We focus on technologies across the Energy transition ecosystem, from grid-scale storage systems and long-duration storage to software that helps operate and monetize these assets. In parallel, we invest in energy software used by utilities, developers, and large energy users to manage batteries, optimize dispatch, aggregate distributed assets, and participate in electricity markets. Our goal is to back companies that make energy storage more deployable, more profitable, and easier to operate at scale.
